Match 1: Ireland vs. Australia

Day 3 in men’s field hockey sees Ireland taking on the hockey giants Australia. Ireland, probably the lowest-ranked team in the tournament, will have to face one of the most dangerous teams, the Aussies. After suffering a 2-0 loss against Belgium in their first game, Ireland will be looking to bounce back to keep their hopes alive for the next round. On the other hand, Australia, who defeated Argentina in their opening match after a close game, will be looking to continue their good performance in the tournament while maintaining their top spot in the pool. They will surely aim to take these 3 points and secure their stand at the top of the pool. Match 2: India vs. Argentina

Now moving towards the second and the last game of Day 3, as there will only be two matches played on Day 3 of the Paris Olympics 2024. India will take on Argentina in the second match of Day 3. India, after a narrow victory of 3-2 against New Zealand in their previous game, where they won with a penalty stroke goal in the dying moments, will now face the challenge of Argentina. Argentina will be desperate to win this game as they have already lost their opening match to Australia. Both teams will be giving their all to win this important game. The match will kick off at 12:45 local time and will be played at Stade Yves-du-Manoir – Pitch 1.
