Oman Hockey Arrives in Pakistan: Schedule Announced
The Oman hockey team got a warm welcome upon their arrival today at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
They will be playing a 4-match series against the Pakistan national team from 8th to 12th April 2025.
The schedule for the 4-match series has been officially announced:
The opening match of the series will be played in Lahore on 8th April (Tuesday) at 7:30 PM.
The second match of the series will be held on 9th April 2025 in Lahore as well, also at 7:30 PM.
The third and fourth matches will then be played in Islamabad, on 11th and 12th April, respectively, both starting at 4:30 PM.
Teams Started Training in Lahore
The Oman national team has started their training camp today, 6th April, at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore.
The team is focusing on training well through this series, as they prepare for an important championship ahead—the AHF Hockey Cup 2025, which serves as a qualifier for the Hockey Asia Cup 2025.
Their focus will be high, aiming to gain as much experience as possible from this important international friendly series.
The Pakistan national hockey team has also started their training camp at the DHA Hockey Arena, Lahore, ahead of the 4-match series against Oman.
