Germany Dominate Poland with 10-0 Victory at Euro Hockey 2025
Germany crushed Poland 10-0 in a dominant display at the Euro Hockey 2025 . Raphael Hartkopf scored a hat-trick , Gonzalo Peillat netted twice late , and Germany ’ s relentless attack left Poland with no answers .
Germany came out firing from the first whistle, taking the lead in the 2nd minute through captain Mats Grambusch. They continued pressing, earning a penalty corner in the 6th minute but failing to convert. Just three minutes later, Thies Prinz doubled the lead.
By the 12th minute, Prinz struck again to make it 3-0. In the closing moments of the quarter,Germany earned three successive penalty corners, finally converting the last one with Raphael Hartkopf finding the net.
Germany kept their strong start to the second quarter, keeping possession and never giving Poland a moment to attack. They kept pushing forward continuously. Then, in the 29th minute, Raphael Hartkopf scored a goal, expanding their advantage.
A minute later, Germany snatched a penalty corner, and Gonzalo Peillat stepped up to score, making it 6-0.
The third quarter began at a steadfast pace, with Germany continuing to dictate play. In the 34th minute, they earned a penalty corner but failed to convert.
However, in the 42nd minute, Raphael Hartkopf found the back of the net once again, completing his hat-trick and further increasing Germany’s advantage.
Moreover, the final quarter saw Germany stay in control. They missed a penalty corner in the 50th minute, but after Tomasz Bembenek of Poland received a green card in the 54th minute, Malte Hellwig added another goal.
Nonetheless, Peillat then scored twice in quick succession once from a penalty corner in the 58th minute and again from a penalty stroke in the 59th minute sealing a commanding 10-0 victory.
