Participating Teams
A total of 10 teams have been invited by the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) for the Junior Asia Cup 2024. The top 5 teams from Asia – Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea – have received automatic qualification based on their final standings in the last Junior Asia Cup in 2023. The other 5 teams – China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, and Oman – qualified through the Men’s Junior AHF Qualification Tournament.
Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2024, every player must be under 21 years old. As per the rules, competitors must be under the age of 21 as of December 31 of the year before the tournament is held, meaning that participants must have been born after December 31, 2003.
