Malaysia Defeat Korea 4-1 in FIH Hockey Pro League

Malaysia secured a 4-1 win over Korea in the FIH Hockey Pro League, highlighted by Anuar Akhimullah’s brace and strong team performance.

The match started with an early burst from Korea as Jin Geonhyo scored in the 2nd minute to give them the lead . Malaysia earned a penalty corner in the fifth minute but failed to convert , and Azahar Amirul received a green calling card at the same clock time .

Korea had a penalty corner in the 7th minute but couldn’t add to their tally . Consequently , the 1st quarter ended with the Korean lead 1-0 .

The second quarter saw both teams going head to head , maintaining an even contest . Nonetheless , Malaysia struck in the 29th minute of arc as Anuar Akhimullah scored to level off the mates at 1-1 .

Nonetheless, shortly after , Korea ’ s Cheon Min Su received a yellow card in the 30th minute , and Malaysia earned a penalty corner at the same time but couldn’t convert . The quarter ended with the teams tied 1-1 .

The third quarter began at a decent pace with both teams going toe to toe .
