Malaysia Defeat China 2–0 in Hockey Asia Cup Clash

Finally , at the 45th minute , Malaysia broke the deadlock through a penalty corner , with Syed Cholan converting to give his side the lead . The quarter ended with Malaya ahead 1-0 .

Republic of China ’ s discipline issues continued as Meng Dihao received a green card in the 50th minute of the arc , followed by another penalty corner for Malaysia at the 58th minute of the arc that went unconverted .

Nonetheless, In the closing stages , Meng Nan was shown a yellow card in the 60th minute , further hurting China ’ s momentum . The match ended with Malaysia sealing a 2–0 victory over China .
